Rutgers Business School Faculty Member
Mitch is currently a fully appointed member of the faculty of Rutgers Business School, holding the rank of Assistant Professor of Finance & Economics. Mitch’s experience started in Wall Street eventually serving as Senior Vice President of Merrill Lynch and then Senior Vice President at Prudential Securities. Leveraging his Wall Street successes, he became President of The Riderwood Group, a boutique investment and advisory firm helping tech companies structuring their enterprise, and designing and delivering a business solution necessary to obtain sufficient external capital to achieve sustainability. After serving in the US Army, he attended New York University where he received his MBA.
Mitch started as a lecturer at NYU teaching accounting in one of that school's graduate business programs. He then was hired by Fordham University to teach in their undergraduate and graduate business curriculum, followed by teaching assignments at Columbia University and Yale University. All of that experience has led to his appointment to the faculty at Rutgers Business School where he has now taught for over five years.
Many businesses, both established and start-ups, owe their success to his financial advice and guidance.
